UPDATE: Nathaniel Coleman Receives Diagnosis On Injured Finger
Nathaniel Coleman, the reigning USAC national champion, heard an audible "pop" in his ring finger while bouldering in a steep roof this week. According to the most recent post from Coleman on Instagram, the official diagnosis is a partial tear of the A4 pulley in his left ring finger.

It is advised that a rest period of between 1-3 weeks, depending on the severity of the injury, should be considered before attempting to begin climbing again. With USAC Open Bouldering Nationals being a month away, it is certain that Coleman will be focusing all of his efforts on being healthy enough to defend his National Champion status.

Coleman is currently ranked seventh in the USAC National Cup Series.
