At last year's event, The Front partnered with Petzl America and raised the ante to produce one of the best attended events of the year. Dark Horse Bouldering Championship
January 20-21 | MetroRock Climbing Center | Boston, MA
The planets have aligned for the most anticipated event of the New Year! The Dark Horse Championship has been a proving ground for climbing's elite for the last eight years. This year the Dark Horse partnered with USA Climbing to make this the final stop on the USAC Bouldering National Cup Series. The bragging rights of becoming the Dark Horse Champion with the ranking system and huge cash purse provided for the NCS guarantees the biggest names in the business will make the trip to the Northeast.

TriState Bouldering Series: Power Struggle
January 28 | Prime Climb | Wallingford, CT
In the second year of existence the TriState Bouldering Series (TBS) has already grown to become a staple of the competitive scene. This is the second round of the multi-gym collaboration bringing you four competitions each one at a different location allowing you to experience the best of the Northeast. The winner of each of the initial three comps gets an automatic bye into the Open Finals of the Championship round. This is sure to attract the attention of some high profile climbers.
